This page summarises how long Faciro keeps categories of personal data, aligned with how the product actually works today. It is not a promise of automated deletion on fixed calendars for every record type, and it is not legal advice. Primary reference: Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017. Controllers should set their own retention rules and ask counsel where needed.
Workspace operational data
Leave requests, balances, attendance punches shown in Faciro, work-from-home records, hours / absence / overtime day figures, payroll-preparation summaries, payroll-helper settings and amounts, and sick leave attachments: retained while the employer keeps an active workspace. After workspace closure, data may remain for a reasonable period for backup and security, or be deleted earlier on a written deletion request (subject to legal holds). Faciro does not currently auto-purge active workspace history on a fixed schedule solely because a date has passed.
Account and billing
Sign-in accounts, company association, and billing or contract records related to the customer relationship: retained as needed for the contract, tax, dispute, and security purposes.
Marketing leads
Quotation and demo enquiries submitted on the public website: retained while Faciro follows up on the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for sales administration, unless you ask us to delete them where we can do so lawfully.
Security and session artefacts
- Password reset tokens: short-lived; they expire after a limited window (typically 24 hours).
- Session and CSRF cookies: expire according to cookie settings (see Cookie Policy).
- Server and security logs: retained for a limited period for troubleshooting and security, then rotated or discarded in the ordinary course of operations.
Exports and deletion requests
Customers should export leave, attendance, and payroll-summary reports they need before closing a workspace. Written deletion or return requests for workspace personal data are handled under the Data Processing Addendum. Backup copies may lag live deletion for a limited time.
