These Terms govern your use of Faciro at faciro.com. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Service description
Faciro is a software tool for tracking employee leave requests, approvals, and balances. It is not legal, tax, or HR advice. Employers are responsible for configuring leave entitlements to match employment contracts and applicable law, including the Workers' Rights Act 2019 (Mauritius).
Accounts
- Workspace admins must provide accurate company and contact information.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password.
- Admins are responsible for lawful collection of employee data in Faciro.
- Do not share accounts or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Employer responsibilities
- Register as a data controller with the Mauritius Data Protection Commissioner if required
- Inform employees that leave data is processed through Faciro
- Ensure leave policies and balances reflect your contracts and statute
- Maintain appropriate internal approvals and record-keeping
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Upload malicious files or attempt to breach security
- Access another company's data
- Reverse engineer or resell the service without permission
- Use Faciro in violation of applicable law
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Faciro is provided "as is". We are not liable for employment disputes, incorrect leave calculations caused by misconfiguration, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months before the claim (or MUR 5,000 if using a free tier).
Termination
You may stop using Faciro at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, export your data before closure where possible.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mauritian courts.
